Conference/Workshop Series of AAAPT

It was realized by AAAPT Network Community that there are many young plasma researchers in the Asian and African region who are keen to have hands-on experience through intensive workshops on computation code used in simulation of plasma dynamics in plasma focus device and in plasma diagnostics such as X-rays, charged particles and other radiations from pulsed plasma devices. To cater to this need of young researchers and also to provide them a platform to present their research results while having close interaction with experienced researcher from AAAPT community, the yearly workshops were planned. Since 2008 the AAAPT Network has successfully organized five international workshops each year.
